Located about 20 km from Danyang, south of Sobaek-san National Park, Korea's only hot springs
with a large amount of sulphur receives visitors from all over the country every day. Many tour
companies have regular schedules just to bring visitors here just for for a bath.
Inside each section (segregated by gender) is a large pool of hot water and a smaller pool of cool
water, with plenty of showering stations to clean yourself before sitting in the pools.
Lockers are provided (the keys are connected to an elastic band to put around your wrist or ankle),
as are plenty of flimsy towels and soap. You can purchase individual packets of shampoo and
conditioner, and the hair dryers cost W200 to operate.
Bus: Check with your local tour companies for special buses to here. Car: From Danyang, follow highway 5 about 8 km south, then turn right onto route 573 for another
8 km. Take the turnoff to the left to the hot springs.
