traditional classroom The museum contains three floors of exhibits showing traditional education methods on Jeju Island. Several life-sized exhibits show traditional classrooms and study halls, while smaller panoramas depict childhood games. Some of the exhibits were designed for audience participation, allowing children to wear traditional costumes and use some of the items on display.

dol-harubang Outside is a partial replica of a traditional village, with two different types of houses, a mill stone, a 5-story pagoda, a grave site, and the prerequisite dol-harubang and bangsat'ap. The inside exhibits do not have any English explanations, and only Korean language brochures are available. The outside exhibit does include include English names for some of the items, but the descriptions are only in Korean.

Winter(Nov. ~ Feb.) - 10:00 ~ 17:00
Closed: Jan. 1, Lunar New Year, Harvest Moon Festival (Chuseok), every Monday, temporary holidays

Directions: Take #500 bus from airport and exit in front of court (or Ido Apts. entrance)

Bus: Take a local Jeju City bus along Nammun-ro to the Chugong Ido APT/Cheju District Law Court bus stop. The museum is a few blocks behind the Jeju District Law Court.
Car: Take Nammun-ro to Ido 2-dong and turn left at the first major street past the Jeju District Law Court, then go 3 blocks.
