The World Automobile Jeju Museum is Asia's only private collection automobile museum. Opened in 2008 within the Jungmun Resort Complex, it contains a lobby exhibition hall, multimedia hall, other exhibition halls, a children's experience hall, souvenir shop, and teahouse.
Displayed in the lobby are a "Benz 300SL" (with a cute teddy bear donated from the nearby Jeju Teddy Bear Museum) and legendary cars "Patent" and "Bayard." In the multimedia hall, visitors experience the history of cars through multimedia. About 70 classic cars are displayed here in 4 main halls, including a rare "Hillman Straight 8," which was made of wood (only 6 exist in the world) and "Delorean DMC 12" (made famous as a time machine in the "Back to the Future" movies).
In the lobby, visitors can rent not only strollers, but also many car-shaped carts for parents to transport their children around the museum. In the experience hall, children can drive mini-cars and a children's "driver's license" is issued for children who complete the driving experience.
Another popular spot is the outdoor observatory where visitors can view beautiful panoramic views of Sanbang-san and some small islands nearby.
