Oksun-bong The beautiful boulders of Oksun-bong rise blue and vigorous like the bud of bamboo, calling to mind the image of a nobleman. A green forest surrounds the rocks like a suit of clothes. Oksun-bong was originally part of Cheongpung-gun, but the female entertainer Duhyang is said to have coaxed Yi Hwang to have it included in Danyang-gun. The magistrate of Cheongpung-gun did not give his permission for this, but Yi Hwang carved the characters 'Dangu Dongmun' in the rock wall, to announce that it was the gateway to Danyang.

Gangseondae Gangseondae (height: 15 meters) also is the setting of the sad story of the famous female entertainer, Duhyang. Duhyang loved the noted scholar Yi Hwang more than life itself. She is said to have committed suicide by throwing herself from Gangseondae when she heard the news of Yi Hwang's death. Beside Gangseondae is the tomb of Duhyang, set up to pay tribute to her faithful heart. There is an old saying that on the grave of a woman who has lived through great suffering, not even a clump of grass will grow.
