Tax Preparation for Korean Income Taxes

Does anyone know how to go about filing Korean income taxes for 2008? Are there any tax preparation services for ex-patriates?

1. Usually, Employers gives tax Information to their employees. Most companies' employees just submit tax forms to their administrative dept in Korea. Your institution may provide that kind of service for its employee. So, you should ask them first.

2. You are supposed to report it to this bureau. Please check the following website. It is National Tax Bureau of Korea. You can call them or post your question to the website. You may find out call number for English.

3. Although you are foreigner, you have the right and amendament. In addition, some employers sometimes forget details or just do not tell it to their employees about it. Thus, you should know a little bit about Korea's tax law and make sure you read the information.

4. Income tax is a subject to return to tax payers. Thus, make sure you report your income correctly, then you will receive certain amount of your income.
